Maltman House

Studio Murnane designed and created a second home on a city lot that allows for 2 houses. Situated on an urban hillside site, we tucked the building comfortably into the hillside and stacked the masses to create a dynamic architectural language. The resulting 3 story home twists to capture views and creating a sculptural massing that fits in with the adjacent context while standing apart from the 1920’s neighborhood.
